The curriculum of the Master of Notary Program at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University has a load of 54 credits, consisting of 10 credits of compulsory courses, 12 credits of supporting courses, 2 credits of elective courses, and 30 credits of final assignments. The courses are scheduled for 2 (three) semesters of face-to-face learning and the study period can be completed in less than 1.5 years and 3 semesters. The lecture system is carried out through lectures, discussions, group paper presentations, and individual (independent) paper assignments. Especially for courses that require skill abilities, more are carried out in the form of dialogues and practical-based exercise assignments that are done together in the classroom and computer laboratory as well as notary offices or exercises that must be completed at home, for example, the courses on Deed Making Techniques, Land Deeds, Notary Practice and Pre-Internship, and supporting courses of the study program. The total credits for the Master of Notary Program are 54, as follows:
Semester I: 16 credits
Semester II: 18 credits
Semester III: 20 credits
In the first year, students will study courses consisting of basic courses, supporting courses, and compulsory courses. These courses relate to philosophy, theory, concepts, legal substance, and knowledge in the field of notarial law, including the regulation of codes of ethics. In addition, the first year also includes courses related to general and specific skills, particularly in the preparation of notarial deeds. Students are also required to submit a proposal as a prelude to their final project in the first semester, and a final project and research seminar in the second semester. In the second year, students focus on research, the results of which are then presented in a Research Results Seminar. These research results are also presented in written form, namely articles submitted to reputable international journals indexed by Scopus. In the third year, students focus on their final assignment and final exam after fulfilling the requirements for under-review status for articles in proceedings or reputable international journals indexed by Scopu.
