The puposes of the Master of Notary Study Program, Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University are:

1. To create a conducive academic atmosphere supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure to produce human resources with academic competence to conduct legal discovery, formulation, and application.
2. To improve productivity and quality of human resources capable of recognizing, analyzing, and solving legal problems wisely while adhering to legal principles.
3. To enhance the ability to have professional competence in the field of notary, enabling graduates to work as Notaries and Land Deed Officials (PPAT) with legal professionalism.
4. To improve higher education cooperation in study program and science and technology development.

The Master of Notary Study Program, Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University aims to produce graduates who:

1. Have academic competence capable of legal discovery, formulation, and application in the field of notary.
2. Are professionals in the field of notary, possessing skills to work as prospective Notaries or prospective Land Deed Officials, and demonstrating legal professionalism.
